1. What Trale Is

Trale is operated by Frank Lu. Trale (trale.app) is a Threads analytics tool that helps you understand your content performance on Meta's Threads platform. We access your Threads data through the official Threads API provided by Meta.

2. Data We Collect

When you connect your Threads account, we access and store:

• Your Threads user ID and username
• Your posts and their associated metrics (views, likes, replies, reposts, quotes)
• Your follower count over time
• Post metadata (timestamps, media type)

We also store the OAuth tokens needed to access your data on your behalf. We do not collect your password.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

• Display analytics dashboards and charts about your Threads performance
• Calculate engagement metrics, growth trends, and content insights
• Generate reports and exports that you request

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on encrypted, access-controlled servers. We use HTTPS for all connections and encrypt sensitive credentials (such as API tokens) at rest. Access to production systems is restricted.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

6. Third-Party Services

Trale uses the Threads API by Meta to access your account data. Your use of Threads is subject to Meta's own privacy policy and terms of service.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you

• Request deletion of your data
• Disconnect your Threads account at any time
